Add Comments to your Loaders

While creating or editing your loaders, you can add comments to them. Loader comments can be viewed by opening the Load Data popup on The Load Data Page. To add comments to your loaders, follow these steps:

1. After entering the create or edit modes, click on the Comment tab near the top of the screen.

2. Add your report comments to the Comments field.

3. When you have finished adding your comment, click the Save button.

Now, each time users access The Load Data Page, they can view the comment by opening the Load Data popup. To open the Load Data popup, access the Load Data page, select the appropriate loader, and then click on any of the comment icons () next to the loader's options, or the white comment icon () below the loader's options.

Assign Comment Options to Loaders

After you've set up comment loader option controls using The Loader Option Definition Page, you can assign them to your loaders by following these steps:

1. Select the context associated with the loader you wish to modify using the Context drop-down menu.

2. Select the loader you wish to modify using the Loaders drop-down menu.
You will not be able to modify built-in loaders.
3. Click the Edit button.
4. Click on the Loader Options tab.

5. Select your comment option control from the Available Options list, and add it to your loader by clicking the Add button.
6. After selecting the comment option in the Included Options list, use the Top, Up, Down, and Bottom buttons to change the position of your comment.
7. Click the Save button to save your changes.

Viewing Loader Comments

Once comments have been added to your loaders, you can view the comments on The Load Data Page.
